Groundhog Repellent

Talking about one of the most destructive rodents and Middlesex County Groundhog is definitely one of them to include in that list. Also known as woodchuck this wildlife can cause so many destructions in the house and garden that is beyond your imagination. They eat the plant, start digging tunnels and create burrow next to house. Several repellents are available to get them away from the garden and house, while some are natural some of the repellents are available at the stores. All are explained here.

Kitty litter
This is a homemade and natural Middlesex County groundhog repellent that can eliminate this pesky wildlife soon. If you have cat at home, try using a kitty litter for the litter box and place the used kitty litter at the garden. What happen here is the dirty and bad smell of kitty litter indicates that there is cat at your home and the Massachusetts groundhogs will try leaving the place soon in fear.

Scare them with hair
This rodent is scared of human and their smell, so if you sprinkle some hair, an old cloth or any old shoe in the garden, it will scare them and they will be forced to leave the place.

Sprinkle urine in the entrance
Groundhog can’t tolerate the smell of human urine and this is why it is one of the best repellents to eliminate these rodents from the garden. Collect human urine in a bottle and sprinkle it in every few days in the entrance of their burrow, they will definitely leave the place.

Critter Ridder
This is a chemical product made with spicy pepper the taste and smell of which is not tolerable by Middlesex County groundhogs. It creates a burning like sensation as they touch or smell the product and thus this repellent keeps this wildlife away from the Massachusetts garden.

Havahart Spray away
This is an electronic repellent that has a motion sensor and as soon as any woodchuck is detected, it starts sudden burst of water to frighten the Massachusetts rodents. But it should be connected with the water supply to work. There are many other electronic repellents available that make uses of bright light to frighten the groundhogs. However it is always best to go for exclusion method to get these rodents out of the garden as most of the repellents are not that effective and it requires reapplication again and again that might not be possible sometimes.
